The 3 Amigos
The partners met by chance years ago through different industry connections and talked about starting something together when the right place came along. Once they found the perfect location, their love of oysters made everything else fall into place. Although there have been a lot of changes over the last few years, their bond remains strong, and they continue to take pride in menu authenticity, food quality, and good service.
Mike has lived in the Grand Rapids area for the last 20 years. His two amazing daughters are graduates of Forest Hills and now have degrees from MSU and CMU. The eldest is currently earning her masters from U of M after returning from work overseas with the Peace Corp, and his youngest recently got married. He has been in the hospitality industry most of his life, including work with Outback and PF Chang’s, among others. Mike is a self-proclaimed neatnik which he has channeled into his own restaurant cleaning business. If he isn’t at the restaurant, you can find him on the golf course or cheering on the Spartans.
Tom was born and raised in West Michigan and loves spending time with his three young kids. He has a degree in culinary arts. Although Tom is no longer a part of the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, the team is grateful for the time and work he contributed.
Brienne has worked locally in restaurants off and on for 25 years. She has three wonderful daughters whom she regularly embarrasses. Her oldest is a graduate of East Kentwood High School and the younger two are still attending. In her spare time, she enjoys wine tasting, running, and baking unique cakes for her family.
